A Brand Positioning Workshop puts a spotlight on your organisation and helps you to decide what it really stands for, where it should sit in the marketplace and how to tell the world about it.

Why might your organisation need one?

What happens in a workshop?

We get our team together with the key people from yours, for somewhere between 5 and 7 hours. Workshops are fun and interactive; involving facilitated discussions, group exercises and individual exercises. Workshops are bespoke to each client, but typically involve the following:

  1. Research (conducted prior to the workshop): attitudes amongst your audience covering brand awareness, brand loyalties, buying motivations…
  2. Current Brand: brand values, what your identity says about you, what’s working and what’s not, internal and external perceptions…
  3. Business Objectives: e.g. increased turnover, greater market share, better brand awareness, more web traffic, world domination…
  4. External Factors: market place – what’s changed and what’s changing, competitors – strengths, weaknesses and what we can learn from them, audience – who they are, what makes them tick and how we connect with them…

What outcomes can you expect?

This is slightly different for each client, however, most workshops work towards five clear outcomes:

  1. Key brand messages: what you need to say to push the right buttons
  2. Desired Perceptions: what you want people to think and feel about your brand
  3. Brand Personality / Tone of Voice: how you should speak to your audience
  4. Unique Selling Proposition: what makes you different from everyone else
  5. Brand positioning: where your brand needs to sit amongst the competition.

After the workshop we will provide you with an outcomes document that covers everything that has been discussed and discovered in the workshop. This document will provide you with a clear creative strategy to help move your brand forwards.
