A modern brand identity and responsive website help launch a spectacular new London venue.
The Light is a contemporary conference venue within Friends House, on London’s Euston Road. Previously the ‘Large Meeting Hall’ of The Quakers, the newly refurbished venue features a dramatic vaulted ceiling with a glass roof that floods the hall with natural light.
When the client started talking to us, the building work was already underway, but they didn’t even have a name or identity for the new venue. Remedy presented several possible name and branding ideas and eventually, ‘The Light’ was chosen.
We then developed the brand identity and applied it to brochures, flyers and exhibition stands to drum up interest ahead of the launch. In tandem with this, we designed a new website and liaised with the client’s existing web developers throughout the site build, ensuring that the design was interpreted correctly and we were happy with the way the site works in different web browsers and responsively on different devices.
The new website was launched in March 2014 and along with the core brand, helps position the venue as a contemporary and exciting new space for large corporate events and exhibitions.
