about us

Remedy is a creative communications agency with a ‘whatever it takes’ attitude. Branding, print, online, advertising, direct mail – whatever it takes.

We come from different complementary creative, production and strategic backgrounds in advertising, design and online.

Wherever you draw the line, you’ll find us happily limbo-ing under it or leaping over it. We produce branding, websites, viral marketing, advertising, corporate literature, email marketing, newsletters, exhibition design… And our creativity is backed-up with insight, common sense, research and a whole heap of big brand experience.

We’ve built relationships with clients in construction, education, engineering, financial services, healthcare, IT, leisure, management consultancy and the not-for-profit sector.

Lisa Casson

After gaining a degree in sculpture, Lisa put down her chisel and joined K'Nex International. As part of the international marketing team, she was responsible for product launches, consumer exhibitions, roadshows and point-of-sale across the UK and Europe. She even got to use her sculpting skills and ended up in the Guinness Book of Records.

Lisa then moved into a creative services role agency-side, initially for Visual and then later at the Face Agency in London. Working on brands such as Max Factor, Pantene, the NSPCC, Norwegian Tourist Board, Purina and Superdrug, Lisa got to grips with the ins and outs of production in press, exhibitions, point-of-sale, print and sales promotion.

Prior to setting up Remedy in 2003, Lisa was Creative Services Director at integrated agency Link ICA, where she managed the creative department and production of TV, radio and outdoor campaigns for P&O Ferries, Kent Reliance Building Society, Leeds Castle and Charities Aid Foundation.

Jonathan Wilcock

At 16, Jonathan had three career options – cartoonist, poet or artist. Luckily someone suggested a career in creative communications, so now he gets to do all three. After studying graphics and majoring in copywriting, he began his career at Butler Dennis Garland as a copywriter working on the Territorial Army, Dairy Crest and Canada Dry Rawlings accounts.

After 17 years in London, working on brands like Carlsberg, The AA, Friends of the Earth and Robinsons Barley Water, he headed for the sticks with his long-time creative partner, Jason, to take on the role of joint Creative Director at Link ICA where he created press, radio and TV advertising for P&O Ferries and Leeds Castle.

In a 25-year career (that feels like 5 minutes), Jonathan has picked up awards as both writer and art director and has lectured at Canterbury Christchurch University.

Jason Hunt

Jason is an extremely rare breed: a strategic, creative and technical designer. After gaining a degree in Film, Video and Photographic Arts at the Polytechnic of Central London, Jason joined one of London’s first design bureaus as a technical and production advisor. After three years immersion in graphics technology, Jason took a long-anticipated trip into the creative world.

As senior designer at integrated agency, Manifesto, he worked for a wide range of clients including GlaxoSmithKline, ASOS.com, Sekonda, Côtes du Rhône wines and L’Oréal. Here, he got to grips with online technologies and developed a deep understanding of the web from all angles.

Before joining Remedy in 2005, Jason was joint Creative Director with Jonathan at Link ICA and freelance designer working on Marks and Spencer, Matalan, Environmental Protection UK and Cable & Wireless.

Tim Sykes

Tim is the sort of person who can spot a marketing opportunity at 100 paces in a sandstorm. He has more than 20 years experience in creative communications, working across a broad range of sectors including charities, finance, travel and leisure, luxury goods, IT, defence, management consultancy and publishing.

Prior to strengthening the planning capabilities at Remedy, Tim was partner and co-founder of integrated agency ST&MP, working on Tefal, Shakespeare’s Globe and the Alzheimer’s Society.

With Director-level roles at Langham Works, Davies Little Cowley Fiddes, The Response Initiative and Brookes & Vernons, Tim has been responsible for high-profile accounts including British Red Cross, Help the Aged, WWF, Tesco Personal Finance, Which? magazine, Cap Gemini and The Telegraph.

Tim is a Fellow of, and lecturer at, the Institute of Direct Marketing and a member of the Institute of Fundraising.

Sam Moon

Having completed his Diploma and Higher Diploma in Graphic Design, Sam is finishing his BA in Graphic Design at Kent University. Having seen the quality of his work at his Higher Diploma end of year show, we were keen to snap him up, so after a two-week work placement, he was part of the team.

Sam brings a different perspective and approach to a brief. He works in the creative team to help design and develop branding, exhibition graphics and design for print projects.

One of Sam’s key strengths is a passion for typography and design for print (he even owns a letterpress). As well as pursuing his love of traditional design media, he is also working alongside Jason to apply his design flair to online projects including email marketing, web banners, social networking applications and websites.
